Birds of a Feather Events is a Dallas-based wedding planning and design firm with a focus on creative direction and offering their clients a bespoke planning experience. With Owner and Creative Director Wendy Kay at the helm of Tiny Weddings Dallas, our hope is to offer you a low-stress wedding planning process with the same high-end style that she is known for with Birds of a Feather. We will bend over backwards to deliver because we value your happiness and believe wholeheartedly that wedding planning CAN actually be stress-free.

We love color, beauty, natural light, flowers (they make everything look more romantic), and clients who trust us to do everything to make their wedding day special.

With a background in producing and directing live and recorded television for the better part of 10 years, Wendy is the definition of “quick on your feet.” She prides herself on being a solution-oriented problem solver—which has served her well in her 10 years of planning and executing flawless events. Wendy’s passion to create and execute original ideas means that in addition to running smoothly, her events are fun, enjoyable, memorable, and tangible pieces of fine art.

When she’s not working or traveling you can find Wendy at home in Fort Worth with her husband and cats. She loves watching Harry Potter and Parks and Rec reruns (she’d be a TV critic if she had any other job), following U2 on tour (she’s seen them in concert nearly 30 times), roller skating (she’s been excellent on wheels since she mastered walking), fall (the season) and all it comes with, and selling/buying new furniture to switch up her ever changing home décor.
